Lessons to Learn From The Dying

Lesson in Dying

Dying is never a topic that is easily talked about. Recently we have all learned about a dying young woman, Brittany Maynard.  Brittany is only 29 years old and she is dying from a glioblastoma brain tumor.  She is advocating for a movement called death with dignity in California, and nationwide in partnership with Compassion & Choices, the nation’s leading end-of-life choice advocacy organization.

Brittany has allowed us to peek into the window of her life recently as she is coming close to the end of her life.  There is so much to be learned through her experiences.  FamilyAffaires.com Contributor, Dr. Dan Gottlieb has experienced death very closely.  He has had his own near death experiences and has witnessed many loved ones deaths.
